Foundation Training Program for Teachers of Pilates

The Tring Pilates Studio offers a comprehensive instructor training program based on the apprenticeship model.

On the job practical sessions are combined with regular lectures and workshops to provide a progressive but solid grounding in all aspects of Pilates instruction. The course aims to raise the level of Pilates instruction beyond that commonly provided for mat class instructors and includes comprehensive tuition on the use of both simple and sophisticated studio equipment. A general level of anatomy and physiology is included and is taught by a qualified physiotherapist so the trainee is equipped to correctly interpret recommendations for customers referred to the studio by health professionals and can provide appropriate exercises

Veronique is also a clinical massage therapist and a Myofascia practitioner and in some of her teaching she will refer to her knowledge of Anatomy Trains fascia lines and her experience of body reading.

The course is run over a 3-term year and includes continuous practical assessment and course work that is finally reviewed by a panel of experienced teachers.

For details of course fees and availability of places please contact Veronique at the studio.
